Spring 2010 - Sport Sport Sport|Once in a life time opportunity . . . 12 lucky pupils to be Flag Bearers at the Olympic Games We were delighted to get the news that our school was one of only 4 schools to be chosen to be Flag Bearers and Player Escorts at the Olympic Football Matches at Old Trafford. Sports Competitions News In Our Lady’s style we have had an extremely busy year so far for competitions and many children being fantastic ambassadors on the school teams. Congratulations to all children who have participated in any of our squads this year. Sports Awards News This Year Our lady’s have been awarded 2 National awards for PE and School Sport: The Daily Telegraph and Aviva National Award for High quality PE and School Sport. and The Youth Sport Trust Award for using PE and School sport to improve Whole school standards.
