Different phases of the moon

In Science, Year 5 were thinking about the different phases of the moon. We considered why we can only see certain parts of the moon on different days. We found this depends on the position of the moon as it orbits around earth and how the sun shines onto it. We then had a go at recreating the phases using Oreos!
