Eggs + Care = Chicks

Well, it's been all about the chicks today. Only delivered yesterday, and we hadn't even had chance to tell the children about the hatching program when I walked in to see two baby chicks in the hatcher! By midday, there were six! The children were totally excited and the staff fell madly in love with them. At playtime a crowd of staff and children fought for space to watch two baby chicks hatch at the same time. Our planners to keep the chicks provided there are enough hens and in time hopefully have our own freshly laid eggs every day
