Gruffalo Grove

Year 1 have been enjoying this well known family favourite . We have written about the characters and the setting. We have created our very own Gruffalo Grove . We will be using the Gruffalo Grove to recreate parts of the story and to develop our communication skills.

Year 1 have been using their writing skills this morning to write a sentence about their favourite part of the story The Gruffalo. We thought about capital letters and full stops and we talked about using adjectives in our writing. Some children went into the gruffalo grove to read stories too!
