Holy Week and The Stations

In Year1 they have been learning about Easter. They have been writing about Holy Week and The Stations of the Cross. They have looked at the crosses from El Salvador and have learned that when the country was in turmoil, prisoners made these crosses depicting their country at war but knew that Jesus was always with them. Now the crosses reflect the peace in the country.

They have made pop-up Easter cards with the Last Supper as the focus as we celebrate this meal at every mass.
