Longitude in time zones

In Geography, Year 5 have been learning about the significance of latitude and longitude. This week, our focus was on the use of longitude in time zones. We spoke about Greenwich Mean Time and how it runs directly through London. We investigated different time zones by using an atlas and thought about the time in various countries around the world!
