What a fantastic start for Year 6's World War 2 topic. The children have been visiting Stockport Air Raid Shelters today and have been experiencing what life would have been like as an evacuee. The Air Raid shelters in Stockport are one of the few remaining accessible WWII shelters and very well worth a visit!
